Skoda Superb was one of the most sold cars in the premium domestic car market. Yet again the company is launching its latest-generation Superb with new everything. Skoda first showcased the Superb at the 2020 Auto Expo and we can say that the car gets some changes in and out.
Performance and Transmission
Unlike the previous generations, the car will be coming in just one engine and transmission options.
- This time around, the car gets only a 2.0-litre turbo petro TSI motor that produces 190bhp of power and about 320Nm of peak torque.
- The engine comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. That gives the car a bit of sporty character from behind the wheel.

The current BS6 generation of Superb gets some subtle changes on the outside. Skoda as a brand always tries to have the right balance between elegance and sportiness. Well, this time it is no different.

- With that, the car gets all-new LED headlights upfront along with new LED fog lamps.
- The car boasts of all new slightly biggest front grille so that the car breaths properly.
Interior
Like the exterior, the interior of the car also gets some noticeable changes.
- For starters, the car comes with a dual-tone interior with black interior and beige accents.
- The car features an all-new infotainment system with a better touch screen unit and better sound quality.
- Skoda Superb this time around gets an all-digital instrument cluster known as the virtual cockpit.
- The Skoda also comes with a wireless charger and many more features enhancing the interior of the car.

Most of the manufacturers don’t have a competitor at this price point. This will be when Audi launches its facelift for A3. Other rivals include Mercedes Benz CLA Class. It is expected to be priced around ₹30lacs.
