Hyundai has revealed the 2022 Tucson in India with bookings open for ₹50,000 and launch on 4th August. It will be available across the 246 signature outlets across the country. It is available in two trims with two engine options, a naturally aspirated petrol & a VGT turbo diesel; in addition to that, it is also equipped with an HTRAC AWD system with three terrain modes. Level 2 ADAS
The 2022 Tucson is equipped with level 2 ADAS that comes with 16 features such as; lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot collision – avoidance assist, safe exit warning, leading vehicle departure alert, high-beam assist, smart cruise control with stop & Go, lane following assist, rear-cross traffic collision warning avoidance assist blind spot view monitor, forward collision warning, forward collision-warning & assist for pedestrian, cycle and junction turning.
In addition to this, it gets 45 active & passive safety features that include the 6-airbags, ESC, front & rear parking sensors, all disc brakes and hill-assists. It is also more extensive than the previous generation being 150mm longer, 5mm taller, 15mm wider, and 85mm more for the wheelbase.

In addition to the most extended wheelbase and the Hyundai Smartsense/ Level 2 ADAS, Tucson also gets the multi-air mode technology for the airconditioning system. This helps in creating a mode comfortable & pleasant cabin environment with a combination of direct & indirect vents for airconditioning & heating with smooth & gentle airflow along with dual climate control.
Dynamic Front Fascia
Hyundai has done an excellent job on the design giving the 2022 Tucson a sleek and modern look. It indeed makes heads turn as it cruises on the roads. One of the unique design elements is the front grille with integrated headlamps. This sensuous sportiness design has a premium radical appeal and excellent road presence.
H2C with Bluelink Connected Car connect
Hyundai also introduced this feature with the Venue facelift. Now the 2022 Tucson is also equipped with Home-to-car technology that offers Alexa & Google Voice assistant that can control various car features, such as the panoramic sunroof.
