With that in typical Tata fashion, Altroz is among the safest cars in the country as it is scored full 5 stars in the global NCAP crash test rating. Talking about i20, it only has 3 stars in the crash test rating. But never the less, both cars come with basic safety features that include, 2 standard airbags as standard ABS+EBD and others. However, the child seat anchor points are only available with the Hyundai i20.

In both situations, it is the Hyundai that is more fuel efficient. And additionally, for the petrol trim, the i20 comes with a 4-cylinder engine. This means it offers better NVH levels.

Price and the final verdict

As said, the vehicles we compared were the base trim for both the respective vehicles. And considering the price, i20 starts at a little bit higher than that of the Tata Altroz. But then, Hyundai also comes with more features in the base trim than the Altroz. But here is the price for both vehicles.
