Tata HBX Mid-Spec Variant Spied, Get’s the Smallest Infotainment System

Well, its not news that Tata has been rigorously working towards launching its first sub-4 metre hatchback the Tata HBX.

Although, the Tata HBX a.k.a has already been seen a number of times being tested on Indian road. However, this time we get to see the inside of one of its speculated mid-spec variant.

  • The first thing we noticed in the spy shots was the centre console which seems to feature the tiniest floating infotainment system ever.
  • Out of the ordinary, the test mule also features- electric ORVS’s, a multi-functional steering wheel, soft-touch plastic on the doors and power windows on all four doors.

What’s under the hood?

  • The HBX micro SUV will come with an Altroz sourced 1.2-litre Revotron petrol mill.
  • The engine generates 85bhp and 113Nm of peak torque while paired to a standard 5-speed manual and an optional AMT.
  • The is based on Tata’s ALFA architecture and the Impact 2.0 design inherited from the Tata Altroz and will be positioned under the Tata Nexon.

What’s on the feature end?

  • The new micro SUV will feature LED DRLs (housed below the headlight setup), LED fog lamps, a tall-riding design and a sleek looking grille on the outside.
  • While on the inside, you will get to see some really new features. It includes a massive 8.0-inch infotainment system, new dashboard design and dual-tone upholstery.
  • Additional features include ambient lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster and a multi-functional flat-bed steering wheel to name a few.
