Tata Motors launches ‘Click to Drive’ online sales platform

India’s one of the largest Tata Motors has recently launch its ‘Click to Drive’ online sales platform which will allow customers to be able to purchase their desired car without having them to leave the comfort and safety of their homes.

This online sales program initiated by Tata seems have been a desperate move or is just trying to follow the footsteps of its Korean competitor Hyundai who has also launched its ‘Click to Buy’ platform in order to somehow boost its domestic sales number.

Tata Motors Click to Drive online sales platform will be to used by the brands more than 750 outlets across the nation. In order to avail this service, the designated customer will have to follow these below-mentioned steps:

  • Register on the Tata Motors ‘Click to Drive’ website
  • Select the desired car
  • Browse through the Video brochure (If required)
  • Book your car

Additionally, If you wish to buy a Tata Altroz will have to access a virtual configurator allowing the designated customer to preview the Altroz in the desired spec of their choice.

Following the booking, customers will then be contacted by a designated sales consultant through a Tata Motors call centre and eventually guide the customer through the entire purchasing process including the on-road price, finance assistance and valuation of their existing car (if going for an exchange offer). From then the customers can choose to complete the purchasing process via email, WhatsApp or video call.

And finally, after all the purchasing process is conducted the customer can decide whether t pick up the car from the designated dealership or to have it delivered at a later date.
