After all the hustle and bustle it’s finally time for the much-awaited Tata Nexon EV is all set to launch on the 28th January 2020. As per leading media reports the Tata Nexon EV is likely to go on sale at 66 dealerships across 33 cities and 12 states.

All the selected dealerships will also fulfil all the service requirements along with dedicated charging stations with up to 25kW DC fast charging station. Unfortunately, all the prospective customers from towns that are not part of the company’s shortlist will have the facility of recharging their Tata Nexon EV by reaching out respective sales locations through their nearest Tata dealerships.

The Tata Nexon EV is the from the company to underpin the all-new ‘Ziptron’ electrical architecture. On the mechanical front, the Tata Nexon EV will feature an impressive 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery which pushes the initial power output to 129hp with 245Nm of peak torque.

The new electric menace also has an ARAI certified range of 312km on a single charge. The Nexon EV can take the battery level from 0-80 percent in just 1 hour through its DC fast charger while the standard 15A AC charger will the task in about 8-9 hours.

With its launch, the Nexon EV will give a tough competition to the likes of the recently launched MG ZS EV, and the Hyundai Kona electric.
