Many Indian automobile companies have already started focusing on electric vehicles and are investing millions in their development to come up with the best product. Well, Tata motors is one of them. The company has claimed that the Tata Nexon EV can cover a distance of 300km on a full charge. This is also the first car in the segment to feature Tata’s Ziptron EV technology with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery which will power the 127hp and 245Nm electric motor. The design and styling of the Nexon EV seems to be quite aggressive if compared to the regular nexon.

It has new machined alloy wheels and a re-designed floating roof that were not present in the regular model. The Nexon EV has a ground clearance of 205mm, unlike the regular model that had 209mm and comes with a unique Electric Teal Paint Scheme. The cabin has been modified as well. The car now has a Black and Cream interior theme and is accompanied by an Altroz inspired flat-bottom steering wheel. It also comes with the latest version of the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay! On the other hand the dashboard layout, however, remains pretty much the same as the standard model.

On the front side, the Tata Nexon EV has been modified with sleeker headlamps, a newly-designed bumper, and a revised grille. While on the other hand, the rear side is more or less the same as the standard version with only the taillamps being replaced with LED. Tata has also taken care of the entertainment by installing a Harman sourced audio system.  The instrument cluster also has a 7-inch TFT display which shows information such as range, charge, vehicle alerts and more. The SUV uses connected car technology which can monitor the batteries’ health, track the car’s location and can alert the driver with safety alarms.
