Just another day and another test mule has been spotted by TeamBHP testing on Indian roads and this time it is the soon to launch Tata Tigor EV. Although this time around the test mule was spotted undisguised revealing every single detail both on the inside and the outside.
The Tata Tigor EV was the home-grown brand’s first product in the EV segment and was initially launched as a government fleet but with its growing popularity, the brand decided to launch the EV in the commercial and the private buyer segment and just as expected the EV became the best selling EV of 2019 surpassing the overall sales of a much bigger and feature-loaded Hyundai Kona.

Talking about its power the all-new Tigor EV facelift is expected to feature the same 21.5 kWh battery pack that generates almost 40bhp with 105Nm of peak torque. With its current battery pack, the Tata Tigor EV holds a range of 213 km on a single charge and can be charged from 0-80% in two hours with the fast charging facility.

Feature-wise the new-age EV shares its design elements with its combustion engine based cousin which was launched earlier this year, the all-new Tigor EV features a revised front fascia along with a new set of projector headlamps, new grille, shark fin antenna, blue striped boot lid and integrated roof spoiler.

The designated test mule as supported a new set of alloy wheels which for a budget EV seems to be a premium feature. Looking at the inside it seems that the new age EV features a sporty three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a dual pod instrument cluster other than that everything on the inside is pretty basic and resembles the out-going model.
