Great Wall Motors has announced its entry to the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2020. The company showcased its Haval SUV range. The company plans to begin its Indian operations with two Haval SUVs; the F5 and F7. The Haval F7 will be rivalling the Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Tucson in India. GWM has also showcased the coupe version of the F7 SUV named F7X.
Haval F7 | Exterior
The Haval F7 typical to the F-Series flaunts a hexagonal grille with a honeycomb pattern. More on the front, we see quad-pod headlamps and fog lamps with LED DRLs.
At the rear, the SUV carries wraparound taillamps connected via a chrome strip and a body-coloured skid plate with sporty vents. The panoramic sunroof adds to the luxury itself of the Haval SUV.
The Haval F7 dimensions are 4620mm, 1846mm and 1690mm with a ground clearance of 190mm. In fact, the SUV sits on 2725mm longer wheelbase and offers a boot space of 723-litres which makes it longer, wider and taller than the Jeep Compass (with more boot space).

The Haval F7 SUV has got elegant interiors as well as the exteriors. The 9-inch infotainment which is inclined towards the driver is a feast to see. It also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
More on the feature list includes power-adjustable front seats, faux leather upholstery and electronic parking brake. Safety-wise, the F7 SUV gets 360-degree parking camera, 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert system, rollover mitigation, electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system etc.

Haval F7 | Price and Launch
Great Wall Motors has taken over the Talegaon plant of General Motors for operations in India.
The Haval SUV will likely be priced in the range of Rs. 16 lakh for the base model all the way upto Rs. 21 lakh for the top-spec variant (ex-showroom).
