   Can anyone beat Maruti Suzuki from being the top seller every month? We don’t think so! Swift stands in the first place among the top-selling cars in September 2020 with a sale of 22,643 units. Available in only petrol variants as Maruti Suzuki has given up on diesel, Swift has got both manual and automatic gearbox options.

2. Maruti Suzuki Baleno
   

   

   We still wonder why Toyota Glanza fails to rise every time! For those who still don’t know, Glanza is just a rebadged Baleno! Indians still go for the brand name and contribute to Baleno’s sales figure to reach the sky. Whereas Glanza has not been here in the top 10 even once! Baleno sold 19,433 units in the month of September 2020.

3. Maruti Suzuki Alto
   

   

   Although Alto is a very good family car, don’t you think it has been too old to be in the market now? It is one of the cars in the Indian market which desperately needs an upgrade. If people still keep buying it in such high amounts, how will the brand realise the need of the hour?    Maruti’s tallboy has bagged the fourth position this time. WagonR has always been among the top-selling cars in India. For the month of September 2020, WagonR sold a total of 17,581 units. One of the biggest advantages that WagonR provides over other cars is variety. You get manual and automatic transmission along with the availability of CNG! Also, it offers the highest claimed mileage among all the CNG cars available in India.

5. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
   

   

   Dzire has been the first pick for almost all the buyers who prefer sub-4-metre sedans. We have seen Dzire at higher places in the chart in the previous months but this time, it has dropped down to the 5th rank. We guess the latest facelift doesn’t seem to be that impressive to the audience! Nevermind, Dzire sold 13,988 units this time.

6. Hyundai Creta
   

   

   Irrespective of the fact that its design has received much criticism from a portion of the audience, Hyundai Creta never fails to be in the top 10! Creta stands at the sixth place among the top-selling cars in September 2020 with a sale of 12,325 units. Hyundai Creta is available in manual, automatic and a 7-speed DCT transmission options which make it a must-buy for SUV lovers!

7. Maruti Suzuki Eeco

Eeco always makes its way into the sales charts and stands at 7th place among the top-selling cars in September 2020 with a sale of 11,220 units.

8. Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS
   

   

   Grand i10 has been a familiar name in households for long. With the introduction of the turbo-petrol unit, it has made its way in the hearts of the young generation as well. Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS has a great design with exceptional performance. Different variants of this car can cater to different audience thereby making it a must-have! 10. Hyundai Elite i20
    

    

    All of us know that this car is due for a huge upgrade later this year. Currently, the Hyundai i20 is available only in manual transmission option with a petrol engine. Just imagine if this limited availability can make i20 sell 9,852 units, how high would be the demand of the new Hyundai i20 in the market! Let’s wait and watch!
