The Toyota Innova Hycross has just been unveiled in India and it looks like a very promising product! It gets a 2L petrol engine along with an optional strong hybrid system. Without the Hybrid, the engine makes 171HP and 205nm, and with the Hybrid, it makes 184HP and 188nm. Both powertrains are mated to CVT gearboxes, there is no option for a manual. The Innova Hycross is loaded with features across variants. Let’s take a look at a detailed explanation of the Toyota Innova Hycross variants!

  • ZX(O) Variant

The most loaded one on this list of Toyota Innova Hycross variants is the ZX(O) variant. It comes only in a 7-seater configuration. Features over the ZX variant include:

Overall, the VX variant seems like a very well-rounded and value-for-money variant. It covers all the basics and also gives some added features. In hindsight, the only difference between the ZX and the ZX(O) variants is the ADAS features. For anyone who doesn’t want ADAS, but seeks all the luxury, the ZX variant is a perfect choice, especially for people who will be spending more time in the back seat.

The G-SLF and the GX variants are available only with the petrol engine. And the VX, ZX, and ZX(O) variants are only available with the strong hybrid model.

  1. Petrol GLX does not come witj 17 in. and 18 in. Alloy wheels.
    Why ?
Can it be fitted by replacing it by buyer or is it not possible.
If possible what are the pros and cons ?

  2. There is no mention of Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) in any of the official communication from Toyota. How are you confirming the presence of AEB in the ZX(O)?
