Most Awaited Upcoming Cars In India | May 2021

April 2021 is about to end and all the car lovers still expect some or the other car to launch. While Mahindra will continue testing their vehicles, there are other automakers who have planned to launch new cars in the Indian market in the month of May 2021. Here is a list of upcoming cars in May 2021 in India. Have a look and choose what suits you the best!

  1. New-Gen Skoda Octavia

    Starting our list of upcoming cars in May 2021, we have the next-gen Skoda Octavia. Skoda’s Aurangabad facility is producing this car as of now and guess what! Some dealerships have already received a few units ahead of the launch. Apart from the dynamic styling changes on the outside, what you need to know about this sedan is that it will get a 2.0-litre 4 cylinder turbo-petrol engine that gets a 7-speed DSG and generates 190PS.

  2. New Hyundai Alcazar (7-Seater Creta)

    Another one which was highly awaited. Hyundai was planning to launch this car in April 2021 itself but due to the massive spike in the COVID-19 cases in India, Hyundai has delayed the launch of the new Alcazar as of now.   3. Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio

    Not spotted testing much, but we know that Maruti has been working on this project for quite a long now and as far as we suppose, they will launch it in the Indian market in the month of May if conditions ease a bit. It’s high time that Maruti updates the Celerio in order to be a worthy rival for others available in the market. Talking about what’s under the hood, you can expect the same 1.0-litre engine which will most probably come with an optional CNG as well.

  4. 2021 Kia Sonet & Seltos

    Not much in here but still, if we are talking about upcoming cars in May 2021, we should count every single small update that a car is getting. About the Kia Sonet and Seltos, they will get Kia’s new logo which you might have already seen by now. Both updated cars go on sale in May 2021.

  5. Mahindra Bolero Neo

    Last but not least, we have the Mahindra Bolero Neo. Most probably, they will continue to sell it alongside the existing SUV. We have kept this as the last one in our list of upcoming cars in May 2021 because we are not sure if Mahindra would launch it or they still want to test it a little more. Well, talking about the specs, it will have a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 100 PS power and 240 Nm torque, mated to a 5-speed MT as well as an optional automatic transmission.

  6. Isuzu DMAX VCROSS BS6

    This pickup was discontinued due to the updated emission norms (BS6). Well, now that we are talking about the upcoming cars in May 2021, we need to include the DMAX for sure because for all the offroading fans out there, Isuzu is all set to launch the VCross in the BS6 avatar now! We expect it to retain the 1.9-litre 4cylinder engine which will continue to produce the same 150PS. Transmission options will be 6-speed manual and 6-speed AT with ofcourse an optional 4X4!
