7 Upcoming Vehicles Slated To Debut in September 2021

Ever since the second wave of the pandemic has calmed, car manufacturers have been coming up with promising new launches every month. From the XUV 700 to the Tata Tigor EV, the automotive industry is trying its best to stand back on its feet in full glory. And in the process, the ultimate benefit is reaped by us consumers, who are experiences promising new vehicles across all segments. So here are 7 upcoming vehicles slated to debut in September.

  1. MG Astor

    The 5th offering by Morris Garages in India, the MG Astor AI SUV, will be the smartest of them all with several industry-first features. Topped with an Artificial Intelligence Robot, Concept of Car-as-a-Platform (CAAP) integrated services and even L2 Autonomous Driving capabilities. Expected to get only a single powertrain; 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol (163PS/230Nm), paired to 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmissions, the upcoming vehicle is expected to be offered for a starting price of Rs. 12-18 Lakhs.

  2. Ford Eco Sport 2021

    Ford’s iconic SUV is all set to receive a mid-life update in the shape of the all-new 2021 Eco Sport. Amongst other key changes, the 2021 Eco Sport is all set to offer a redesigned front grille with a chrome garnish around the edges, a new bumper & fog lamp housings along inverted L-Shaped DRLs, and a faux skid plate. Power-wise, the Eco Sport is expected to carry forward its predecessor’s powertrain, even though nothing is official yet. But being Ford’s veteran SUV in India, we are excited to see what the upcoming vehicle brings to the game in September 2021.

  3. Land Rover Defender Hybrid X

    Now for some premium luxury, the JLR group is also set to get the most out of September 2021, with the launch of an all-new variant to the Land Rover Defender. Dubbed as the Land Rover Defender 5-Door Hybrid X trim, this variant would be JLR’s most efficient Defender and its first Plug-In hybrid model. In the Hybrid X trim, the 2.0-liter petrol engine will be coupled with a 105kW electric motor, producing a Combi-power of 404PS and 640NM. The vehicle will also get a 19.2kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be charged using a 15A socket or a 7.4kW AC wall box charger. Even though bookings were open back in December 2020, the upcomong vehicle will officially start reaching owners from September 2021.

  4. Mahindra TUV 300 Plus

    It looks like the year 2021, is proving to be one of the best production years for Mahindra and Mahindra. After the successful launch of the XUV 700, next up from the house of Mahindra is the TUV 300 Plus. Essentially the same iconic TUV 300, the Plus version of the SUV will be offered in a 9-seater version, retaining the power train of the TUV 300. Slated to launch in September 2021, the starting price of the 9 Seater TUV 300 Plus is somewhere around Rs. 11-12 Lakhs.

  5. Volkswagen Taigun

    Volkswagen’s vibrant SUV is finally expected to be launched in September 2021. Powered by two turbocharged petrol engines; a 1-litre (115PS/178Nm) unit and a 1.5-litre (150PS/250Nm) unit, both engines will have not only a 6-speed manual but a 6-speed torque converted and a 7-speed DSG as well. The 1.5 litre trim will also possess active cylinder technology that shuts off two cylinders based on driving inputs to increase fuel efficiency. Topped with ample comfort features as well, the Taigun has got our eyes hooked to it for a very long time now. With launch slated for September 2021, let’s see what the upcoming vehicle brings for us.

  6. Hyundai i20 N-Line

    The sportier iteration of the all-new Hyundai i20, the N-Line version of the i20 is also set to launch in September 2021. On-board the N-Line trim of the Hyundai i20, the vehicle will feature sporty touches on the exterior as well in the interior. The suspension set-up will also be tweaked a bit to give way for a sportier feel. Other features onboard will include chrome-plated twin-tip exhausts, new 17-inch dual-tone alloys, N-Line badging on the front grille, blacked-out side skirts and pillars etc. Being the enthusiast’s heaven, we are excited to see the entire package of the N-Line.

  7. 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio

    The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been spied testing for quite some time now. And it looks like the vehicle is finally ready to debut in September 2021. Expected to be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre, petrol burner (67bhp/90Nm), the engine will offer both 5-speed manuals as well as AMT. Visually; the new Celerio will come with a more muscular design and a bit sportier exteriors. The interiors too are expected to bring about a more premium look, making the Celerio hotter than before.
