Citroen C3
The Citroen C3 is a hatchback with SUV like features. The C3 is a compact car at 3.98 metres. It has a 2.54-metre wheelbase with 180 mm of ground clearance and a high bonnet. The 4 seater car is to have 90% locally sourced parts. Though the powertrains haven’t yet been specified, we expect it will come with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. Citroen will launch the C3 in India in the first half of 2022.

Renault Zoe
The Zoe is a supermini electric vehicle designed by the French manufacturer Renault. The car was displayed at the auto expo 2020. Renault has tested and adjusted the EV for Indian roads and climate. The car provides a mileage of 350 Kms with a full battery and it takes 3hrs to fully charge the battery. The car will come at an ex-showroom price of 8lakhs and we are all waiting for its launch in October.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio
The Maruti Celerio was supposed to have its launch in September. However, the shortage of semiconductor chips has pushed the launch date back to the end of 2021. The Celerio has the same lightweight HEARTECT platform used for the new S-Presso and the good old WagonR. In terms of design, the Celerio outshines any of Maruti’s current hatchbacks. The car has a sports appearance with black alloy wheels for its premium range. the Celerio comes with a host of features, but according to estimations, the base price may be as low as 5 lakhs.

Tata Tiago CNG
Tata’s Tiago is soon to get a CNG variant in India. The company has been planning on launching a new range of CNG vehicles in India. The CNG fleet will include the hatchback as well as the SUV Tata Tigor. According to spy shots, both models are being tested before the festive season began. We may expect the Tata Tiago CNG variant soon.

2022 Nissan Leaf
The new-gen Nissan leaf is scheduled to be launched in February 2022. The five-seater EV hatchback is known for its instant acceleration, mileage, cabin space, practicality and comfort. The new model will have a sharper look, improved features and a better range.
