From among the top contenders in the Indian car market to the one that became company that sells rebadged cars in the country. Toyota has done it all. Well, the latter is because of a partnership between Suzuki Cars global and Toyota Motor Corporation. But in between that, Toyota has limited cars in its portfolio as of now. But things are changing, for good somehow. Toyota had set multiple cars that are to be launched in India. Let’s take a look at those 7 upcoming Toyota cars in India.

    It all started with Baleno to Glanza. At first, we too were confused, but surprisingly the company is getting a decent response from this move. Hence, the DNA shifted to other cars too. Now, Toyota might launch another rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ciaz the Toyota Belta.

    Well, like the rebadged cars, this too is expected to get the exact same set of features, engine and transmission as the Ciaz. This means that it is expected to come with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, churning 105 ps of max power. The features are also expected to carry forward.

    Next up is another vehicle that borrows not just the DNA but the entire structure from Maruti Suzuki, the Toyota Rumion. If you haven’t guessed it already the Toyota Rumion is the MPV that is based on the Maruti Ertiga.

    That said, Maruti in India recently updated the Ertiga in India with an updated feature list and a new 6-speed torque converter. We expected the Toyota Rumion to follow its launch is the exact same sets of specifications except for the logo.

    Are we not done yet? If the Toyota has not, why should we. On 27th is the day when the Mahindra Suzuki is set to launch the next generation of its best-selling SUV, the Brezza. Like the Glanza that took about 3 weeks from the launch of Baleno, we anticipate a similar story with Urban Cruiser.

    A sunroof, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and paddle shifters are some of the favourite features we anticipate making it into the Hyryder. But the thing we are most excited about is its powertrain. As per some sources, the new Toyota Hyryder might come with a hybrid powertrain.

    But it gets with minor tweaks, like clear lenses for the tail lights and a closed front grille. Additionally, as of now, the powertrain still remains to be a mystery.

    In the international market, this Toyota gets an option of either a petrol or a diesel motor to choose from. However, we are not sure which one will make it to India. Nevertheless, for the price, the Land Cruise will definitely be feature loaded.
