People usually have high expectations from the facelifted cars in terms of looks but sometimes, the brand’s designers fail to deliver what they were meant to. 1. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800
   

   

   Remember this Alto which ruled the hearts of the Indian customers? Now you would say that the current Alto also continues to sell in huge amounts! Well, of course, it is selling in high amounts but don’t you think this generation of Alto looked far better than the current one. Also, don’t you think it has been long that we are getting the same old Alto 800 and its time for Maruti to revamp things? 2. Hyundai Creta
   

   

   A hit for some, a miss for others. Looks are subjective but they definitely matter when you are going out to buy a car! The way this new Creta looks has made it face a lot of criticism from the Indian audience (some of them). No doubt people have bought this SUV in huge numbers but some people still continue to criticise it for having looks which don’t appeal them at all. Wondering what those people are buying? 3. 2020 Honda City
   

   

   The 2020 Hinda City is the latest update in the City lineup. However, it doesn’t look as appealing as the previous generation model. Continuing our list of facelifted cars that look worse than their originals, we have with us, the new Honda City. The previous0gen Honda City was sold alongside the new version and still got decent sale numbers. What does this signify? Clearly, the people were still inclined towards the previous-gen rather than buying the new one!

4. 2018 Hyundai Santro
   

   

   Hyundai Santro is another car from the Korean automaker which the Indian audience is really fond of. Santro needs no introduction but bringing it down to the level of an entry hatchback was not fair from Hyundai’s end. Santro used to be a household name and could still be one if it didn’t have this “frog-face”. You might disagree with us but a true Santro lover would agree that the Xing had a better stance than the present version.

5. 2020 BMW Cars
   

   

   We are not talking about a particular BMW here. We are talking about the grille which is getting bigger with every new generation! We know that kidney grilles are BMW’s symbol but we don’t think they need to make it that prominent! The bigger grille is giving the cars that “Bunny” look. Do you want your car to have bunny teeth? The choice is yours! We think that BMW should retain their uniqueness rather than following the Chinese culture of putting in huge grilles.

6. 2020 Mercedes S-Class
   

   

   Last but not lease. This one in our list of facelifted cars that look worse than the originals is the test S-Class from Mercedes! Does it look like a Mercedes anyhow? It looks no more than a Hyundai to us. Well, this sedan has also faced a lot of criticism online in terms of its looks and the Mercedes fanboys were really disappointed with the design that this facelift has got.
