- Domestic sales will be prioritised for the first 2-3 years before exports

Xiaomi YU7: Design under Limelight
A make-brother of the latter, this e-SUV borrows a lot of styling from the SU7 including:
- the blanked-off grille
- teardrop-style LED headlights
- darkened bits in the lower section of the bumper
- Flush pop-up door handles
- signature roof hump
The difference lies in the dimensions with the new alloy wheel design, the black wheel arches, plus the rear tail light section.
Overall, the YU7 adapts to a more aerodynamic crossover blueprint, similar to the Ferrari Purosangue look, with interior specifics yet to be revealed.

Xiaomi YU7: Battery, Power Specifications
- YU7’s top speed (253km/hr) is slightly lower than that of the SU7 Max
The Xiaomi YU7 SUV features a dual-motor setup, with 299hp at the front and 392hp at the rear, delivering a combined output of 691hp. This is more powerful than the higher-spec SU7’s 673hp variant. Despite weighing in at 2,405kg, the YU7 can reach a top speed of 253 km/hr. In comparison, the lighter SU7 Max achieves 265 km/hr.

For the YU7’s battery, Xiaomi has teamed up with CATL, the same supplier for Tesla’s batteries. Notably, Tesla is CATL’s largest customer. While the exact battery capacity hasn’t been disclosed, it’s likely to be the same 101kWh unit used in the high-end SU7 models. This offers up to 830km of range in the sedan, although the SUV’s range will be slightly lower due to its weight.
The entry-level RWD variants of SU7 use LFP-chemistry batteries. The Xiaomi YU7 might share the same unit for the (possible) two-wheel drive.

Xiaomi YU7: India Launch Plans 2025
Currently, there are no plans to launch the YU7 in India, despite Xiaomi’s earlier showcase of the SU7 sedan. The company is still assessing Indian interest before debuting its first models in the region.
