Mahindra BS6 is the latest car to join the BS6 bandwagon. The popular SUV from Mahindra was launched in the new engine avatar to comply with the latest emission norms in India. The new version of the XUV500 is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk engine that produces 153bhp and 360Nm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an option of 6-speed AMT. The BS4 version of the XUV500 had an AWD version but the BS6 version hasn’t got that update yet. The popular SUV from Mahindra is now available in four variants – W5, W7, W9 and W11(O).

You can now book your Mahindra XUV500 BS6 for a token amount of Rs.5,000. You can also book any of these accessories while you complete your booking process. The variant wise pricing of the SUV has not been revealed till yet but we can expect this to be priced somewhere near its rivals. The Mahindra XUV500 continues to rival MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass in the Indian market. Many automakers have now switched to the online mode for accepting the advance bookings or even the full payments for the new products in the market. The ongoing pandemic has already slowed down the automotive industry in India but we expect the conditions to normalise soon.
