Kia Motors has just launched the 2020 version of the brands first and three-time India’s most selling SUV the Kia Seltos with an updated feature list. Not only that the Korean brand has not only 10 new safety and connectivity features but has also discontinued two variants in the GT line range – GTK and GTX DCT due to low demand and now the updated lineup will consist of 16 variants. 2020 Kia Seltos | New Features
On the inside, the all-new updated Kia Seltos gets a fully automatic temperature control (FATC) which is reserved for the HTX, HTX+, GTX and GTX+ trims. The HTX+ and GTX+ will now be available with a new dual-tone sunroof. Additionally, the HTK and GTK variants will get to feature electric sunroof with LED cabin lamp, metal scuff plates and metal garnish on the air-conditioner controls.
Moreover, all the variants of the new and updated 2020 Kia Seltos will come equipped with features like ESS (Emergency stop signal) and front and rear USB charging ports as standard and while the smart-key remote has also been made standard for all automatic variants.
The HTX, HTX+, GTX and GTX+ variants will also feature new voice commands in the AI software. So if you wish to know the current cricket score you just have to say “Cricket score search”. The UVO connected car system will also feature smartwatch app connectivity and control air purifier.
Not only that the HTX+ variant has also been equipped with a dual-tip muffler, printed-dashboard garnish and leatherette gear knob. The highest GTX+ variant will have all-black interior with integrated red-stitching and metal garish on the AC controls which was previously part of the “Add On” accessories. The Korean carmaker has also offered a new dual-tone Orange/White roof colour scheme on the HTX+ and GTX+ variants.

it has got three engine options:
- 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol unit (138hp with 242 Nm of torque)
- 1.5-litre petrol Naturally aspirated petrol unit (113 hp with 144Nm of torque)
- 1.5-litre VGT diesel unit ( 113hp with 250Nm of torque)
- All the engines are BS6 compliant. For the transmission duties, the company has chosen a 6-speed manual gearbox, a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed AT.
