2020 Nissan Kicks Engine & Performance
The Updated Nissan Kicks completely ditches the 1.5-litre diesel and now gets 2 BS6-Compliant engine options;
- a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 105bhp with 142Nm of peak torque mated to a five-speed gearbox.No manual option on the 1.5-litre.
- The party piece on the New Nissan Kicks is the 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out a mind-boggling 156ps and 254nm of torque. The HR13 DDT, as it is internally known shares its cylinder coating technology form the Nissan GTR which is how the Kicks is able to deliver such performance. The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol does come with Nissan’s X-Tronic CVT automatic which Nissan claims is 40% more efficient than other CVTs.
