Skoda global will be unleashing the all-new beast, Octavia iV RS on the first day of the Geneva motor show. The car is a highly popular car for the global market as it offers the complete package.

The world’s biggest auto show at Geneva is around the corner. Many global car manufacturers are excited to showcase or unveil their new offerings including Skoda global. The greatest motor show will be commencing from the 3rd of March till the 15th of the same month.
Skoda Octavia iV RS | Affordable super sedan
To date, Skoda has checked the right boxes in terms of updating the Octavia. The performance of the vRS is more than adequate and is built like a tank. All the features and the sporty dynamics of the car complement the Octavia.
Skoda has taken the new Skoda Octavia iV RS to the next level by giving it a hybrid powertrain. This makes the super sedan a mouth-watering deal.
Powertrain
All-new Skoda Octavia iV RS is now expected to have a hybrid powertrain that will assist the engine and add the car with extra oomph.
- The hybrid is going to be a PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid vehicle)
- Alongside an electric motor, the sedan is expected t come with a 1.4-Litre turbo petrol (TSI) engine similar to the new Volkswagen Golf GTE.
- The combined power output of both an electric motor and petrol engine will be around 242hp and about staggering 400Nm torque.
- The Power train can propel the beast up to 100Km/h in just seven seconds.

Dynamics
- With the power upgrades from standard Octavia, iV RS will get stiffened suspension so as to increase the sporty experience from behind the wheel and contain the body roll.
- The iV RS will also be lowered to the ground to further decrease the height of CG (Center of Gravity)
The new Octavia iV RS will possess a 13Kwh battery to power the electric motor. The range of the sedan is expected to be around 55Km solely on battery. This car is expected to have a big impact on the market and may change the definition of super sedans.
