Pictures of a totally undisguised Tata Nexon Facelift have surfaced. The images shot by Autocar India confirms that the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift is almost ready for an official launch.
Under the bonnet, the Nexon facelift gets two BS6 compliant engines; a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. Both these engines will feature a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic options.
The Tata Nexon in its 2020 iteration will see a lot of modifications both on the exterior and the interior. The fascia of the Nexon now looks a lot like the Nexon EV given the squarish design, an updated bumper, bonnet, a new pair of headlamps and a refreshed grille. The Nexon also takes some design cues from its elder brother; the Tata Harrier with new fog lamp clusters, a Harrie-ish grille with new headlamps with integrated DRLs.
The facelifted Nexon will also feature the new Pedestrian Safety Norms that will come into effect in October 2020.
The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will see a price hike of about Rs. 50,000 compared to the outgoing model. The Nexon will rival the likes of the recently updated Vitara Brezza, the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and the Hyundai Venue in the Indian market.
