It’s non-other than Tata who is ready to grace our lands with another electrified car and this time it’s the 2021 Tata Tigor EV. This might not be news as many of us might have seen the older version of the Tigor EV ramming down the roads but what we miss out on is that the EVs we see were only manufactured for commercials purposes.
This just might be the first time that a brand like Tata is set to introduce a Ziptron powered sub-compact EV. The tease of the new soon to launch 2021 Tata Tigor EV was teased via its Instagram and Youtube handle.
The teaser video features the new Ziptromm powered 2021 Tata Tigor EV sitting beside the Nexon EV. Both the cars can be seen zooming uphill Kolli Hills situated at 1,400 meters above sea level and consists of 70 hairpin turns.
Any Major changes on the Mechanical front?
- Tata is yet to confirm the exact power figures of the new Ziptron powered Tigor EV but rumours suggest that it might have a range of 250km on a single charge.
- Although we can expect to see an advanced Ziptron high-voltage 300V+ architecture that uses an advance permanent magnet synchronous electric motor.
Any changes on the feature end?
- So, going by th teaser image the new 2021 Tigor EV is expected to feature projector headlamps with LED DRL’s.
- Other cosmetic changes include new alloy wheels with blue accents, multiple colour options, a new enclosed grille and ziptron badging on the boot.
- Talking about the pricing, it is expected to be priced between Rs 7-10 lakhs.
