The Legend is back from the dead, Yezdi Roadking is all set to make its comeback this year. according to leading media reports, new reports have emerged that the Yezdi Roadking will be launched during the upcoming festive season.
for all of us who still aren’t aware of what the Yezdi Roadking is, it was produced by Ideal Jawa Ltd based between 1978 and 1996 and was based on the CZ 250 motocross bike. The company was then based out of Mysore.
However, the 2021 roadking is expected to have modern looks and powerful specifications. So, if we go by the spyshots of the bike, it more or less looks like the roadking will look similar to the modern day scrambler.
It is expected to boast features like a flat ribbed seat, round headlamp, taller handlebar, rear tyre hugger, twin exhausts and LED head and taillamp setup. It is also expected to get a dual-channel ABS system and a digital instrument console as standard.
What will power this oldskool legend?
- It is expected to come with a 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
- The same engine does the job in the current-gen Jawa 42.
- It produces 26.51bhp of power with 27Nm of peak torque while paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
