From Hyundai Creta To Toyota Innova Here Are Cars launching in January 2023

2022 was a year when Indian automotive manufacturers launched various cars. Among these cars, electric vehicles are among the segment that has seen tremendous growth. Well, as now we have entered the last few days of 2022, almost all the activities in this industry have already been done. But hold that thought. Although its the last month, the more curious month has to be after that, January 2023. Why? This is because many car makers are subjected to launch new vehicles for the Indian market. So, before wasting time, let’s have a look at the 5 cars that we expect their respective company will launch in Jan 2023.

    Starting with the vehicle that has allowed the Korean carmaker Hyundai to firm its legs in this era. This is because Hyundai Creta is the brands top-selling vehicle. Additionally, as of now, Creta is loaded with features and power. But with the first month of 2023, Hyundai might extend its advantage by launching the Creta facelift.

    It was 2020 when the company launched the new generation of Creta. But this time, there are minor cosmetic changes and feature updates. The new Hyundai Creta’s expected features are a 360-degree camera, ADAS features, front parking sensors, an all-digital instrument cluster and more.

    These include cosmetic changes, including a black interior and a different gear lever. Under the hood, the vehicle comes with a motor capable of generating a peak power of 150bhp and 310Nm of instant torque. Additionally, the company claims the car to have a range of 456 km. That said, we expect Mahindra to launch its first EV in January.

    Up next is the recently unveiled Toyota Innova Hycross. We expect Toyota to launch the new Innova in India in January as the company has started booking the vehicles. So, if you are interested in the new Toyota Innova, one could book the vehicle for Rs. 50,000. In traditional Toyota fashion, the car would come in 5 variants. These include G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX(O).

    The company has also invested time in adding new features, including ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, powered second-row seats with an ottoman function, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, wireless charging and more. With that, the company also claims that the car comes with 2.0-litre hybrid powertrain paired with an electric motor. The combined output of the drivetrain is said to be 183 bhp. That said, we expect Toyota to launch the new Innova somewhere in January.

    Up next is another electric vehicle from the Korean carmaker Hyundai. Currently, two Korean all-electric cars are on sale in India. But in January, we expect Hyundai to launch its second electric vehicle in India, the Ioniq 5. As the name rhymes with iconic, that is what we think describes the vehicle Hyundai Ioniq quite perfectly. Why? For one, the vehicle carries an old-school vibe with pixel-like lights and a classic body structure.

    This reminds us of the old boxy cars. Nevertheless, even though the vehicle’s body looks outdated, the car is surely not now. And this time, we expect the company to update the aesthetics thoroughly. Along with that, we also expect the company to update the feature list of the SUV.
