7-Seater Hyundai Creta spotted testing again!

We have already told you that Hyundai is working on a 7-seater version of the 2020 Creta. The car is already under development in South Korea. We have got some spy shots to show you once again! Yes, we spotted the 7-seater test mule yet again and here is what we could make out from the spy shots this time!

The 7-seater Hyundai Creta looks prominently longer than its 5-seater counterpart. This indicates ample 3rd-row space. The already existing Creta has a length figure of 4,300mm. The new test mule also seemed to be taller than the already existing version. The Creta is 1,635mm tall with the roof rails. The 7-seater version hasn’t got the flush roof rails.

We already know that Hyundai has designed the 2020 Crets to look like a miniature version of the flagship SUV- The Palisade. Hyundai now plans to make the 7-seater Creta look like the flagship too. A unique solid chrome mesh grille will be the highlight which will indicate the car being the 7-seater version if a person looks at the front fascia only!

Talking about the side profile, the length of the 7-seater Hyundai Creta will anyway differentiate it from the 5-seater version. The roofline will also help you distinguish between the two. The elevation of the beltline at the rear won’t be as strong either. The rear profile has also got significant changes. The taillights are now wider and split. We haven’t seen them clearly yet but they will be different from the current version for sure!

The 7-seater Hyundai Creta will most likely carry the same wheelbase as the Kia Seltos made in South Korea and Chine. The exact figure is 2,630mm though. We don’t expect a change in the powertrain too. There is no confirmation about when this car will be launched. Hyundai is planning a lot of new vehicles for the Indian market in the near future. This will include the flagship SUV – The Palisade as well!
