Yamaha Motors has launched a new 125cc motorcycle in Europe named XMAX 125. The new scooter is feature-loaded, power-packed and comfortable to drive. Let’s have a look at some specs and then we will tell you whether it will launch in India or not.

The European-spec XMAX 125 is being offered in 4 shades, Radical Red, Sonic Grey, Phantom Blue and Blazing Grey.
Features At Glance
The 2018 version of European-spec gets dual LED headlights and LED taillamps, smart keyless ignition, Traction control system (TCS), spacious dual-seat with separate rider’s backrest, digital instrument cluster with LCD display, 12V socket, adjustable handlebars, 15-inch front wheel and much more. If launched in India, there is a chance that you might have to deal with lesser features in order to keep the price in check.

With shedding some features, the two-wheeler if launched in India can be expected to be priced around ₹75,000. The company might also detune the engine in order to meet the expectations of customers regarding fuel efficiency. This will put it against Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. The launch can be expected by the end of this year although there is nothing official from the company.

I had visited one of the Yamaha 2 wheeler show room this month to confirm the launch and they are still unaware about this. So, we might expect them to launch at start of next year as Yamaha generally launches new 2 wheeler at the start of year.
