The Mahindra XUV 3X0 has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Thar Roxx and XUV 400 EV as one of Mahindra’s safest models. This rating puts the XUV 3X0 on par with the Tata Nexon, making it a top choice for safety among compact SUVs in India.

  • Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test: A perfect 16 out of 16 points, showing impressive side-impact protection, even outperforming the Nexon’s score of 14.76.

Child Occupant Protection

The XUV 3X0 also shines in child safety, earning 43 out of 49 points. Here’s how it scored in specific areas:

  • Dynamic Test: A flawless 24 out of 24 points, ensuring strong protection during impact tests.
  • CRS Installation Test: Another perfect score, 12 out of 12 points, showing how child seats can be securely fitted.
  • Vehicle Assessment Score: Earned 7 out of 13 points, reflecting solid overall child safety features. While a bit lower than the Nexon’s 9, the XUV 3X0’s features are still robust.
