The recent launch of the fourth-generation Maruti Dzire 2024 and the all-new Honda Amaze has absolutely made a sensation in the Indian sedan market. In the recent teaser, Honda has revealed the exterior and interior images of the new Amaze. The exterior has a bold look with Honda City like headlights and a grille, and the interior features an opulent setup with a huge infotainment screen. Maruti Dzire vs Honda Amaze: Engine and Specifications

The Marut Dzire 2024 features a 1.2L Z series engine with two different powertrain options: petrol and CNG. The petrol model gives an average mileage of 24.79 km/l and the CNG one 33.73 km/l.  It also comes in a multiple-gearbox system, featuring 5 MT, and 5 AGS.

On the other hand, the new Honda Amaze has the same 1.2L standard Hinda engine, which produces 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Honda will release the Amaze with 5 manual and 5 CVT transmission options. Mileage details aren’t known yet since the Amaze still hasn’t been launched.

Maruti Dzire vs Honda Amaze: Exterior and Interior

Unlike the previous generation, the new Dzire comes in a bold, sharp exterior body. The highlights are new refined headlights, Volkswagen Virtus-like, taillamps, a grille, a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic sunroof. Major highlights of the interior include a wireless charger, armrest, and TPMS(Tire pressure monitoring system). 

Talking about the Amaze, Honda has just revealed a few sketches. The exterior highlights the bold headlamps and taillamps, a sharp grille, and a sleek style body. It gives off the new Honda City. Interior sketches revealed a huge infotainment screen with a spacious cabin.

The major highlight of the new Dzire 2024, the first Maruti car to secure a 5-star rating. The new Dzire scored a solid 5-star in adult occupant safety and a 4-star in child occupant safety.

The new Honda hasn’t been tested yet. Talking about the previous generation tested by Global NCAP, scored 2-star in adult occupant safety and 0-star in child occupant. However, it is expected that the new generation of Honda Amaze will make a notable difference. 

Maruti Dzire vs Honda City: Price and Dimensions 

The new Dzire 2024 starts from a base price of ₹6.70 lakh and goes all the way to ₹10.14 lakh(Ex-showroom). The third generation Dzire was priced at ₹6.24 lakh to ₹9.18 lakh(Ex-showroom).
Prices for new Honda Amaze hasn’t been revealed yet. However, the speculations are to be between ₹7 lakh to ₹9 lakh estimate(Ex-showroom). It would be priced competitively to the Maruri Dzire 2024.
