Performance and Specs
Boasting a 665hp, 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine sourced from the Mercedes AMG, the Aston Martin Vantage revs 800Nm of torque, as opposed to the previous 665hp. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hr in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 325 km/hr rivals an average V12 model.
Design and Features
The Vantage’s exterior carries more rugged features, bearing a wide grille, redesigned air intakes, and a pronounced bonnet line faintly resembling the One-77 supercar.. The new coupe is 30mm wider enhancing its stance, while possessing new frameless mirrors and flush door handles.
Inside, the Vantage ditches the Mercedes influence, adopting an in-house-developed infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen featuring live 3D mapping, and wireless smartphone mirroring. Physical controls for key functions remain, with a notable improvement in material quality and overall finish.
The new Aston Martin Vantage competes with luxury sports coupes like the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche 911, offering a powerful blend of performance and redefined luxury.
