A leaked official document from Citroen has revealed the indicative pricing of the upcoming C3 “Micro-SUV” and how it compares to its close rival; the Tata Punch. According to the leaked document, the C3 will be offered in 2 major trims; the Live and Feel, with a total of 6 variants:

According to the document, the indicative pricing of the Citroen C3 starts at Rs. 6 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the base model going all the way up to Rs. 8.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-end trim.

Even though Citroen does not term the C3 as an “SUV”, the S3 in comparison, to the Tata Punch, currently commands an ex-showroom price between Rs. 5.83 lakhs and Rs. 8.83 lakhs for its manual variants. This clearly shows how Citroen has adopted new pricing as well as segmentation strategy, hoping to rule the market with its product. It is also crucial to note that the C3 will offer class-leading acceleration hitting 0 to 100 in about 10 seconds.
