The Coronavirus or COVID19 epidemic has led to a total lockdown of the countries across the globe and India is no exception. The consumers are worried about the service of their vehicles. The companies have started rolling out extended warranty and service period to ease the tension of customers. Yamaha Motors has also stated the same for their customers.
What does the extension mean?
Yamaha is extending services that were scheduled between the period of March 15 to April 15, 2020. This means that the customers having service due in this period can get it done until June 2020.
The same goes for the normal and the extended warranty which has also been extended for two months. Customers who opted for AMC or Annual Maintainence Contract will also get the benefits of the extension.
Yamaha has stated that all the dealer principals have been advised to pass these benefits to the customers without any hassle.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the automobile companies had to suspend their manufacturing units’ operations in order to prevent the widespread. TVS has also announced a 30crore package to fight the COVID19 or the Coronavirus pandemic.

Carmakers and bikemakers are assuring that the customers have no issues due to the lockdown. They are taking care of the dealerships also. Hero Motocorp has announced that it will be absorbing all the unsold BS4 stock. They plan to export it to the countries where the vehicle will adhere to the emission norms.
In this grave time of emergency due to Coronavirus, make sure that you remain at home as nothing is more important than your health. The time will pass and soon everything will come back to normal.
