Haryana is also joining the states in offering a subsidy for EVs in India. The state government has approved its EV policy, and it includes everything from pure EVs, hybrid cars, and even light electric vehicles such as e-rickshaws. Let’s have a look at what the state is offering:
Cars Below ₹15 Lakhs
According to their EV policy, the Haryana government offers a 15% subsidy for electric & hybrid vehicles priced under ₹15 lakhs. Cars such as the Tigor EV could be availed and have a cap of ₹3 lakhs.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara might also fall under this price range, and other upcoming EVs are also expected to be under this range. This step is taken in support of the EV revolution and a step into the future to encourage buyers. The EV versions of Grand Vitara & Hyryder will be eligible for subsidy.
Cars from ₹15-40 Lakhs

For vehicles with a higher price range, the Haryana government offers the same 15% subsidiary but with a higher cap of ₹6 lakhs. This would include cars such as Nexon EVs, both versions, and the Honda City e:HEV as well. This also included imported cars for a limited period of time capped at ₹10 lakhs.
Additional Incentives
There are some additional incentives as well, which include other vehicles such as e-rickshaws. According to their EV policy, these incentives will be available for 6 months after the policy’s announcement.

It offers a subsidy of ₹25,000 on e-rickshaws/carts and a ₹50,000 subsidy for light electric motor vehicles. And for cars under ₹10 lakhs, a subsidy of ₹75,000 and for 1₹ lakh for that above ₹ 10 lakhs.

This policy benefits not only the EV buyers but also the overall manufacturing. It benefits all battery charging operators by exempting ‘Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Units’ & ‘Electric Battery Units’ from paying electricity duty for the first 10 years of business.
These manufacturers will be offered a dedicated line along with non-peak time usage for testing the EV batteries as well. What do you think about this policy?

There are different subsidies available depending upon the state you live in. You can check your nearest RTO website for the same.
I am looking for one time incentive under SHEV catagory of 15 lacs to 40 lacs in State of Haryana, the car has already been purchased and duely registered, but I am unable to find the link of online portal where I can submit my application for 15% incentive for first 200 cars as declared for the catagory.
