Honda sub-4-m compact SUV
Now after the new emission norms kick in from the 1st of April, Honda is getting its procedure together in order to launch a new car in this segment. The new Honda is set to rival the likes of Brezza, Venue and the new boys in town Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
Aesthetics
Honda is known for designing elegant and bold cars. This is not gonna be no different. The new compact SUV might have bold looks with a big chrome bar with grille giving the car a macho appeal.
Although it is a new car, we expect it to share the underpinnings from the hatchback Jazz. Honda’s early crossover WR-V was also backed up by the same chassis.
Inside the vehicle might come with all the features in this segment like the smart connect, premium interiors and feature-loaded interiors.
Powertrain
Under the hood, we expect the Honda will come in a total of 3 engine options.
- Two petrol engines, one naturally aspirated engine and a 1.0-Litre turbo petrol engine.
- A Diesel might also be offered.
- Both the engine might be offered in two transmissions. An automatic transmission (might be CVT) or 6-speed manual transmission.
