Engine | Which is the most powerful?
Let’s take a look at engine specs of each of the car.
Models Variants Emission Type Power (HP) Torque (Nm) Hyundai Aura 1.0-Litre Turbo GDI Petrol BS-6 98.63 172 1.2-Litre MPI Petrol BS-6 81.8 114 1.2-Litre Ecotorq Diesel BS-6 73.9 190 Maruti Suzuki Dzire 1.2-Litre K12 VVT Petrol BS-6 83 113 1.3-Litre DDiS Diesel BS-4 75 190 Honda Amaze 1.2-Litre i-VTEC Petrol BS-4 88.76 110 1.5-Litre i-DTEC Diesel BS-4 98.6 160
Hyundai Aura clearly dominates the power segment of petrol engines. The turbocharged engine will surely rev up your hearts.
In the diesel engine part, Honda Amaze seems to be more powered than both of the competitors.
But when it comes to the peak torque, Hyundai Aura again takes the lead and that too with a big margin. Manual as well automatic transmissions are there as options with all the three cars.
It is necessary to note that only Hyundai Aura is coming with all engine options being compliant to BS6 emission norms whereas Honda Amaze has still not go update in the engine.
