Well, Hyundai has been among the top-selling car brands in India for ages now. Another month has passed by and if we talk about car sales in India for January 2023, the number has risen for almost all automakers. Hyundai car sales January 2023 formed a cumulative number of 67,276 cars which comes out to be 16.63% YoY growth. This number includes both domestic sales and exports. If we talk only about domestic sales only, HMIL recorded 50,106 units in comparison to 44,022 units sold in the same month last year.
The Korean automaker claims to sell around 27,532 SUVs across India out of which Tucson, Creta, Venue and Alcazar stand strong with the sale figures. Surprisingly, the electric Kona has also garnered good sales numbers which shows the growing demand of electric cars in India. Last month, Tata Motors stood at the second position in terms of sales for Dec’22. In January 2023, Hyundai regained the second position in India.

The Korean automaker has also launched the new Venue and the Creta which is now compliant with the new RDE norms.
