The all-new second-gen Hyundai Creta is finally here. After a series of tests and many kilometres of road tests, the car has arrived for the Indian markets.
The Hyundai Creta which was launched as the ix25 in China in 2019, has arrived with a slew of upgrades.

The most important update of all is the BS6 upgrade for the Creta. As mentioned earlier by us, the car will receive the engine and transmission options from the Kia Seltos. The 1.5-litre petrol engine in the Hyundai Creta creates 115 hp and can be mated with a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission. The South Korean carmaker might soon introduce Seltos’ 1.4-litre turbo petrol for the new Creta.

Hyundai Creta | Interiors + Exteriors
Hyundai has made way for a rather dominating and radical design. The headlights take a design cue from the Hyundai Venue. The headlight arrangement includes LED DRLs with newly designed fog lamps below the headlamps. The dual-tone colours used on the car gives the car a more muscular stance from the side profile. At the rear end is the major update, with the LED taillamps receiving a major makeover. The wheel-arches have bid adieu to the round designs and are squared up.

Adding to the muscular look are the 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels which give it enough ground clearance. The second-gen Creta also has a longer wheelbase than the outgoing version of the car.
However, Hyundai has avoided the interior revelation of the India spec car as of now. Considering the fact that the second-gen Hyundai Creta is primarily based on the Kia Seltos, it can be comfortably speculated that cabin space will be at par.
On the tech front, the car receives the company’s BlueLink connected car technology.
Hyundai Creta | Price
The price of the vehicle is expected to stay in the ₹10 lakhs to ₹16 lakhs bracket. However, the official price hasn’t been revealed yet.

Hyundai is also launching the facelifted version of the Hyundai Tucson at the Auto Expo 2020. The company is betting a lot on the second-gen Hyundai Creta. The car has already made a brand name for itself in the Indian car market.
