Hyundai Exter Knight edition: What’s Changed?

The new Knight Edition is based on the SX and SX(O) Connect models. The previously launched Venue Knight edition was available in S trim as well. The Creta’s Knight edition was launched in all four trim levels.
This new update is more of a cosmetic upgrade in the Hyundai’s Mini-SUV. The Knight editions of the Creta and Venue had some feature additions in them. They had a dash camera installed from the factory. The new Exter Knight edition did not see those changes.

Updates in the Knight edition:

– It has black side sill garnishes
– Red accents on the front bumper and tailgate
– Black front and rear skid plates
– Black alloy wheels on the SX(O) Connect,
– Black Hyundai and Exter badges
– Knight emblem on the outside.

Interior:

– Black satin door handles and steering
– A metal scuff plate
– Red stitching on the floor mats

Pricing:

The new Knight Edition of Hyundai Exter starts from a price of Rs 8.38 lakhs. The Base EX trim of the Exter starts from a price of Rs 6.13 lakhs. The price comparison of the Normal Exter and the similar spec Knight edition is mentioned below:

The engine and Gearbox:

Since this is a cosmetic upgrade there is no change in the engine options. The Exter comes with a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder Naturally aspirated petrol engine as standard.

Power: 61 kW (83 PS) @ 6 000 r/ min
Torque: 113.8 Nm (11.6 kgm) @ 4 000 r/min

The Exter Knight Edition will be available with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
The Exter is also available in CNG-fitted variants. However, the new Knight edition might not be available in the CNG fuel option.
