Lamborghini Urus SE Launched in India at Rs. 4.57 crore

The Bulls from the Italian car manufacturer have been ripping the asphalt in India since the official operations started in 2008. Urus has been the best-selling Lamborghini around the country. The SUV has been a very practical sports car for the Indian market. With the launch of the new Lamborghini Urus SE with the plug-in hybrid powertrain, the car’s proposition in our market has increased significantly.

The Urus SE is the second plug-in hybrid car from the house of Lamborghini after its Revuelto. Lamborghini Urus makes the highest percentage of sales across the globe. The SUV has done wonders for the company. This plug-in hybrid version is a big step towards the sustainable and efficiency-defining future of performance cars.

Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain and Performance:

Engine: 4.0 Litres, Twin turbo V8

Battery pack: 25.9 kWh

The battery back in the Urus SE gives an all-electric range of around 60km and can be driven at speeds up to 130 kph in the EV mode. Beyond this speed, the combustion engine kicks in and does all the talking.

The Urus has Neve, Sabbia, and Terra for off-road use unlike the other Lamborghinis. The Urus SE gets four additional modes – EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge, and Performance. The new Recharge mode (usable in Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Neve modes) allows up to 80 percent of the battery to be recharged.

Lamborghini Urus SE Interior upgrades

The new Lamborghini Urus SE gets some subtle changes on the inside with more customization options available. The AC vents have been redesigned a bit. The dashboard has been tweaked as well. All this is done to accommodate the new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. This display replaces the 10.1-inch unit in the previous iteration of the SUV.

Lamborghini Urus SE Exterior Upgrades

There have been very subtle upgrades on the outside of the hybrid SUV. The Urus SE incorporates slimmer headlamps and LED matrix technology, replacing the signature Y-motif with a new LED signature. At the rear, the registration plate finds a new home on the bumper, and the diffuser grows larger and more prominent.

On the side, you can notice, that the wheels have been redesigned and are available in 21-, 22-, or 23-inch sizes, all wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.

The rear also showcases a new spoiler and tailgate, complemented by contrasting trim connecting the Y-shaped LED tail-lights.
