The luxury division of Toyota the Lexus has launched its sports coupe in India named LC500h. The unit will be Completely Built Unit(CBU). The car will be a hybrid electric car.
Lexus LC500h | Engine and Motor Specifications
Lexus will be powered by a hybrid system meaning it’ll have both an IC engine and electrically powered motors.
- The engine will be a 3.5 Litre V6 petrol-fueled one outputting 300hp of power.
- Lexus LC500h will have two electric motors powered by one battery.
- The total output of the car will be 360HP and 350Nm torque.
- The European version claims a 15.75km/l fuel economy.
- It will have a 10-speed transmission and will be rear-wheel drive.

Lexus LC500h | Internal/ External Features
The new sports coupe will also get some new internal features along with cosmetic changes both internally and externally.
- It will have a digital instrument cluster system.
- Lexus LC500h will have 12.3-inch infotainment however it will be a touchpad instead of being a touchscreen.
- The front seats will be heated and powered.
- The dashboard will have Alcantara leather.
- Externally the car has 20-inch wheels.
- Spindle grille and the extended hood gives it a sleek look.
- The sharp headlights add into giving it a sports cars look.

Lexus LC500h | Safety Features
Lexus hasn’t slacked in the safety department either with features that are usually not available in most cars.
- Other features include multiple airbags, emergency braking.
- Lexus LC500h also has a lane-keeping assist, cross-traffic alert.
- Having adaptive cruise control allows the driver to rest while the car manages the speed automatically.
- It also has Blindspot monitoring which informs you whenever a vehicle is in a place where it will not be visible to the driver.
Also with the launch of LC500h, Lexus also announced Completely Knocked Down (CKD) operations making its two models NX SUV and ES sedan a bit cheaper than before with prices for both going down to 5 Lakh INR.

The sports Coupe costs 1.96 Crore INR and has its booking already started with such luxury it can only have a rival in the likes of Maserati Turismo models.
