Lexus has expanded its flagship LX SUV range with the LX 700h, a hybrid variant. The LX 700h brings a petrol-hybrid to the fleet, which previously had only pure petrol and diesel powertrains.

Lexus LX 700h: Refreshed Features
The LX 700h now features a parallel hybrid system, second after the LX SUV electrified version. It combines a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 engine and an electric motor in parallel, delivering a combined output of 463hp and 790Nm(prototype). This powertrain treads with a 4WD 10-speed automatic transmission.
The same hybrid powertrain will also feature in the upcoming Toyota Land Cruiser 300.
The LX lineup has also been updated with a revamped 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and faster and wireless charging. New massage programs in the VIP and Executive trims include full-body and targeted massages with adjustable intensity.
Lexus LX: Overtrail Edition
Lexus has introduced an off-road-focused “Overtrail” edition from other models(including the new Land Cruiser Prado-based Lexus GX), possessing distinctive alloy wheels, all-terrain tyres, and a rugged blacked-out grille with unique accents. The Overtrail also features rear-front-central differential locks and a distinctive Moon Desert paint finish.
The updated LX line-up, along with the LX700h, will go on sale in North America first, followed by other markets.
