Global NCAP’s most recent crash tests awarded the Mahindra XUV700 five stars for adult occupants and four stars for child occupants. The newly launched Mahindra XUV700 was evaluated in its most basic safety specifications, with two airbags and ABS brakes in the latest round of GNCAP’s #SaferCarsForIndia crash tests. It also has ISOFIX mounts for child safety. Optional equipment like side-body and side head curtain airbags and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) could be added to the Mahindra XUV700 to make it much safer.

Global NCAP’s voluntary testing procedure was used to test the Mahindra XUV700. It also becomes the second Mahindra SUV after the XUV300 to score a full 5-Star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
Mahindra recently revealed the price of the XUV700 mid-sized SUV. It has been a massive success with buyers. In less than two days, Mahindra received over 50,000 reservations. The SUV’s introductory price was Rs 11.99 lakh, and this goes up to Rs 22.89 million. Prices have increased up to Rs 50,000. The initial price was only available for the first 25,000 bookings.

The Mahindra XUV700 was awarded an impressive 16.03 out of 17 points for adult occupant protection. This is a remarkable 5-Star safety rarity in this category. It earned 41.66 out of a total of 49 points for child occupant protection. This category has a 4-Star rating. The new XUV700’s bodyshell was rated stable and was capable of withstanding additional loadings, and the footwell was also rated stable. It is essential to mention that the XUV700 had to pass the UN95 side impact test to receive the 5-Star safety rating.
