Maruti Suzuki is known for providing small updates to keep the competition going. With already successful cars like Alto, Celerio and WagonR, MSIL is back with a special edition of the S-Presso this time. The new edition is named ‘Xtra’ and gets a number of interior and exterior add ons which can be opted as an additional kit at the dealership level.
The new version has been announced on Maruti Suzuki’s official social media handles. It is not yet clear which variant will the Xtra edition be based on. We suppose that this edition will be based on the top-end trim VXi+. If you are wondering about the prices, MSIL has not announced the prices yet.
Maruti S-Presso Xtra | Highlights

On the outside, the new limited edition has got front skid plate, door cladding and wheel arch cladding that add up to the hatchback’s SUV styling element and make its look more rugged. On the inside, the car gets red inserts on the door sides, a round centre console and special red-themed floor mats featuring X-Tra text.
There is nothing new apart from the above-mentioned changes on the Maruti S-Presso Xtra. As per us, this add-on will be limited to the top-end variant only. This variant gets 14-inch steel wheels with caps, steering-mounted audio controls, all four power windows, 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV-like hatch gets a centre-mounted instrument cluster and basic safety like ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and reverse parking sensors. The engine and transmission also remain unchanged. Let’s see if Maruti gets this special edition with CNG in the Indian market. What do you think?
