Looking for a ‘non-turbo’ engine. Swift offers larger cabin space and also I love its design. So opting a Swift.

It’s the 4 cyl na vvt engine of Swift that is a gem. When it comes to i10 the turbo offers a better performance but it’s a 3 cyl unit instead of 4 and even though turbo engine are a different experience and sometimes even more fun in outright acceleration. The driving experience of a na with greater displacement 4 cyl with variable valve technology on winding roads is much better. I have had these experience many times that while I drive turbos I feel like turbos are better coz they pull better. But once I switch back to na engine their pull feels much predictable and I realise that na engine have a fan base of their own coz of these particular reasons. Altogether both offer a different driving experience. Even though I would opt for turbo if I had to choose one coz of the turbo boost and efficiency in power to displacement. I fell at home when I drive a smooth na four cyl Japanese engines with larger displacement.
Hi Sumen! Indeed, a NA Japanese engine is better than most of the competitors!
