MG Hector BS6 | Highlights
The MG Hector BS6 diesel comes in a price range of Rs. 13.88 Lakhs to Rs. 17.73 Lakhs. The price is really competitive considering the rivals. The major Rivals of the MG Hector are Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Tucson. The BS6 upgrade was expected to bring in a huge price difference but MG raised the price by only 45,000 INR. This is a great step on the manufacturer’s end which could surely help push the sales. That’s not all! Even the base variant gets features like keyless entry, disc brakes all around, ESP, traction control, hill hold control. The top of the line variant also gets features like a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, automatic AC, 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and more which makes the Hector a car to go for!

MG Hector BS6 | What’s Missing?
Although the features that the Hector offers make it a must-buy but it still misses out on something major! The MG Hector BS6 diesel comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Those who had their eyes on a diesel automatic will have to wait a little longer we guess! On the contrary, the Jeep Compass and the Tata Harrier have got the automatic diesel variants which the buyers can surely look out for!

The top-spec variant comes with all that the MG Hector BS6 offers in the Indian market. It’s surely a variant to go for! But if you are looking to save a bit, you can look out to buy the Smart trim. You will have to sacrifice on features like automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.
