Nissan India has launched the 4th generation of X-Trail in India. Their next product for the Indian car market would be Ariya. Ariya would be Nissan’s first high-end electric SUV in India. The Ariya is expected to be a CBU similar to the X-Trail.
Pricing
As of now, we expect the Ariya to be placed above the X-Trail. This means that the electric SUV would be priced upwards of Rs. 55 lakhs. This price segment is very competitive in the current market scenario.
Rivals
The premium EV market is full of great options. Nissan’s Ariya will be competing:
- Kia EV6
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- Mercedes EQA
- BMW iX1
- Volvo XC40 Recharge
- Volkswagen ID.4 (Upcoming)
Some Details About Ariya
The Ariya started selling around the world in July 2020. The futuristic-looking electric SUV is built on the CMF-EV platform. A big gloss black panel on the front, slim LED headlights with V-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a roofline that looks like a coupe are some of its features. A touchscreen infotainment screen and a digital instrument panel are in the middle of the simple dashboard that makes up the cabin’s minimalist design.
