Piaggio has been famous in India for its Vespa scooter. At the Auto Expo 2020, the company has launched the electric version of it, the Elettrica. The pure electric scooter will be locking its ORVMs with the newly launched Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube. The launch has not been confirmed yet by the company. But the manufacturer has stated its interest to bring new electric mobility to the country.

The Italian manufacturer, Piaggio has also revealed a concept under its Aprilia sub-brand badged the Cross-Max concept. It is expected to go on sale in India under the name SXR with two variants: 125cc and a 160cc.
The SXR was made in Italy and will feature a multifunction digital instrument cluster along with smartphone connectivity, LED twin-pod headlights and a vast array of accessories.
It will be offered in four colour options: blue, red, white and black. Let’s wait for Piaggio Aprilia SXR to get launched in India. For the rivals, TVS Ntorq can be a tough competition.
