One of the most wanted names in the motorcycle industry, Royal Enfield has taken the wraps off the Super Meteor 650 at the ongoing EICMA 2022 motorcycle show. Now with the bike already unveiled here’s everything you should know about it.
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Cruiser
Making its global debut at the Milan motorcycle show on the 8th of November, the RE Super Meteor 650 Cruiser has gotten avid Royal Enfield fans excited. Even though the OEM has claimed that deliveries of the Cruiser will begin in the UK in January, the bike will surely make its way to India as well.

Super Meteor 650 Cruiser: Design
Unlike all other offerings in the Royal Enfield inventory, the Super Meteor 650 Cruiser gets a wave of refreshing design that is distinct in itself. Measuring 241 kg, the bike offers circular LED headlamps, an upright riding position, a classic two-piece scalloped seat, tear-drop shaped fuel tank. Another highlight is the cast-aluminium switch cube and 43 mm Showa USD forks, which is a first on any Royal Enfield. Overall, the Super Meteor 650’s design is inspired by the Meteor 350 which makes the Meteor series unique in itself.
Super Meteor 650 Cruiser: Engine and Braking
Coming to the details of the bike, the Super Meteor 650 Cruiser is 3rd bike in the OEMs line-up that is propelled by a 648CC parallel-twin engine that is offered on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 as well. The engine makes 48 HP with 52 Nm tastefully paired with a 6-speed transmission.
As far as braking is concerned, the bike offers a single 320 mm disc up front with a two-piston calliper while the rear gets a 300 mm disc. Safety is taken care of by a dual-channel ABS which is offered as a standard feature. With a tank capacity of 15.7 litres, the Super Meteor 650 Cruiser is meant to go the distance.

Super Meteor 650 Cruiser: Price and Availability
Expected to make its Indian debut at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania scheduled to take place in Goa later this month, the Super Meteor 650 Cruise will be offered in five colours – Astral Blue, Astral Black, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green and can be priced at around Rs. 3.5 Lakhs.
