6 Special Edition Cars You Can Buy Right Now!

Special Edition cars have been in demand for quite some time now. Every buyer wants something that is different from the generic themes that the masses follow. Well, there are some manufacturers that offer this type of customization with the ‘Special Editions’ of their vehicles. Let’s take a look at these 6 special edition cars you can buy right now!

  1. KIA Seltos X-Line

The Seltos is one of the best selling cars in India. Good looks, excellent features and attractive pricing is what attracts buyers to the Seltos. Recently, KIA launches the Seltos X-Line. This Special edition car features an eye-catching matte grey paint that makes the car look bolder and more aggressive. It also gets a few orange accents on the grill and the alloys. Speaking of alloys, the X-Line gets 18-inch wheels with a new design that looks a bit busier than the existing alloys. On the inside, this SUV gets a dark navy blue theme that makes its way to the seats, dashboard and the doors. The interior surprisingly looks quite elegant and up-market. The Seltos X-Line is only available on the top trims of the petrol and diesel variants on the Seltos. Pricing for this special edition car starts at Rs.17.89 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

  1. Tata Nexon

The Nexon gets two special editions- The Dark Edition and the recently launched Kaziranga Edition. The Dark edition, as the name suggests, gets an all-black treatment. The paint job, wheels, interiors are all blacked out on this SUV. The Kaziranga edition gets a Bronze theme both on the inside and outside. This edition is based exclusively on the top XZ+ variant, and it also gets a new feature- Ventilated Seats!

  1. Tata Harrier/Safari

The Harrier and Safari both get the option of a Dark Edition or a Kaziranga Edition. Just like the Nexon, the dark editions of both these SUVs are completely blacked out both on the inside and on the outside. The Harrier Dark Edition is the OG dark edition from Tata though, since it all started there and let on to the Nexon, Altroz, and the Safari. The Kaziranga edition here gets the bronze theme as well and is based on the top-end variants of the Harrier and the Safari. The Safari gets an additional special edition- the Adventure Persona. The Adventure Persona gets an aquamarine paint job on the outside along with blacked-out rims and badges. On the inside, it gets brown leather seats instead of white on the regular Safari.

  1. Jeep Compass Trailhawk

The Trailhawk is the more rugged, off-road friendly variant of the Jeep Compass. It only ones with a 4×4 drive and is based on the Model S of the Jeep Compass. The Trailhawk features a slightly higher ground clearance, skid-plates on the underbody and the legendary Jeep Trailhawk badge. It also gets a few blacked-out accents on the hood, rear bumper and the ORVMs to add to the ruggedness of the SUV.

  1. Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition

The whole Kaziranga fad started with the Punch. Tata sold off the Punch’s first Kaziranga edition at the IPL auctions, the proceeds for which would go towards the development of the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The Punch also gets a Bronze theme on the Kaziranga edition. It is based on the top-end Creative variant of the Punch, which means that it is loaded with all the bells and whistles.

  1. KIA Sonet Anniversary Edition

The Sonet’s Anniversary Edition gets an Aurochs inspired theme. It gets Aurochs inspires skid plates all around the car, with subtle Tangerine accents. The ‘Tiger Nose’ grill on this one also gets Tangerine accents, which actually looks very good on the Sonet. This Anniversary Edition is based only on the top-spec trim, so buyers are greeted with all the features on the Sonet as standard!
