6 Tasteful DC Design Cars | From Renault Duster to Toyota MR2

Car modifications if done right can lead to a great story. And India’s very own Dilip Chabaria has been making sure that his modifications take the cars to another level. Here is a list of 8 such cars from DC design that has every right to be called luxury beasts.

1. Renault Duster

   

   Duster in itself is a very power-packed SUV. And when this mean machine meets the DC design, the result is just awesome. DC’s designed Duster is completely different from the original one and in a good way. The front projector headlamps have been replaced by a strip of 10 LEDs. And at the centre is the DC badging. You will also be able to see a new set of custom-designed 10-inch alloy wheels.

   

   At the interior too, you will get glossy wood finishing at the dashboard, steering and the door panels. At the rear, the bench seats have been replaced by the pilot seats covered in premium leather. There’s an LCD screen that can be used to watch movies and relax at the rear. Other DC accessories are also present in this Duster. This modification costs around ₹4-7lakhs depending upon what you choose.

2. Innova Crysta Lounge
   

   

   The MPV king of India, Innova is already known for the luxury it can provide. DC adding their touch just made it the most luxurious Innova of all time. At the exterior, you will find wide-body kits. At the rear, you will be welcomed by a chrome-finished exhaust pipe. Well, there is not much changed at the outside, the insides are completely different.

   

   At the first row, you will find a new wooden-finish dashboard and leather-wrapped seats and steering wheel. There is no third row in this Innova Crysta. Instead of this, the second row has been pushed towards the rear end making enough space for your legs. The captain seats with a lot of features at the stretch of your hand make it an ultra-luxury cabin.
   This luxury comes at a cost of around ₹9lakhs.

3. HM Ambassador

   

   Ambassador is a car that is known to everyone, even the current generation although it is not in production at present. But if you are lucky enough to have one from the past or are able to buy one, take it to DC for sure. All you need to do is spend around ₹3-5 lakhs and get the car modified by DC design. It gets an all-new bold front fascia with new grille and the LED headlamps. The Laal Batti at the top makes it sure that the feels are just right.

   

   The interiors have been given a modern treatment but the real Amby is still there inside. But you get a proper executive feel sitting inside.

4. Hammer Thar

   

   Mahindra Thar is already known for having a cult in India. The offroad lovers just love the jeep. And DC did a great job while modifying the cult into Hammer Thar. This Thar looks way better the original Thar in the terms of design, no offence to anyone here! This modification will cost around ₹6-8lakhs.

5. Ford Ecosport

   

   Ecosport was the first car to enter India in the compact SUV segment. DC had to make sure they have a design ready for it. And there was one.
   Talking about the design, the front section of the Ecosport just got revamped and became all aggressive from all cute. The black grille just adds to the sophistication. And the LED headlamps in symmetry with the turn indicators on the ORVMs are a piece of art. The dual fog lamps are also there to make it look bold.

   

   In the interior also, DC has made modifications that add to the luxury of this Ecosport. It gets a 2+2 seating arrangement unlike the 2+3 in the general Ecosport. It also gets the refrigerator, screens, massage function and much more. This modification can cost you anywhere between ₹5-7lakhs.

6. Toyota MR2

   

   You all may not have heard about this car. But I am pretty sure you all must have seen the Tarzan the Wonder car in your childhood. Well, sorry to break it to you, Raj was not the designer of the car. It was designed by DC. And this car was the Toyota MR2 which was given a sporty design by India’s very own talent. This Toyota MR2 costs over a whooping ₹2 crore, Yes! you read that right. We all remember how the car used to look like.
